Wildlife within scotland

My connection to nature isn’t about hiking mountains, it’s rooted in a childhood spent exploring the ground under my feet and playing in the dirt until the sun went down. That early curiosity stayed with me for over a decade in the Armed Forces and twenty years as a joiner, eventually leading me off grid.

I’ve taken early retirement to follow what truly moves me, and a chance encounter with Daniel has turned a shared passion into a reality.

On the Isle of Mull, I’ve found that focus in the beauty and sheer awe of the wildlife. I’m here to keep learning, to share the experience with those who have that same passion, and to provide a space where we can all capture the silence.

I’m also a proud ambassador of Kite Optics.

mullman

I grew up watching the otters on Mull and going out with the local RSPB warden. I left school to work for the RSPB and went on to have a whole career in conservation, exploring and tour leading all over the planet. I returned with my family to live back on Mull full time in 2021 and created my own wildlife tour business on Mull called Mullman, which is now extremely successful. I am passionate about all things wild and sharing my knowledge and passion of the wild brings enormous pleasure.
