Privacy Policy – Mull Wildlife Hides

At Mull Wildlife Hides, we want you to feel well looked after, and things to go easily from the start. We only collect the personal information we need to manage your booking, keep in touch with you, and help everything run smoothly for your time with us.

What we collect

This will usually be your name, email address, phone number, and any booking details you choose to share with us through Acuity Scheduling, email, text or phone.

Trail Cameras & Security

Trail cameras are operational 24/7 around the hides and surrounding site for wildlife monitoring, site management and security. Footage capturing identifiable individuals is routinely deleted or overwritten, unless required for security or legal purposes. Footage containing wildlife only may be retained for business, promotional, or monitoring purposes.

How we use your information

We use your information to manage your booking, send you the details you need before your visit, and make sure we can welcome you properly and run our hides safely and reliably. We never sell your data, and we look after it in line with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR.

Who can access it

Your booking information is only accessed by the people who run Mull Wildlife Hides, and by our trusted admin supporter who helps manage bookings, enquiries and the website.

How we store your information

We store information electronically using password-protected devices and secure online systems. We take care to keep it safe.

How long we keep it

We only keep your information for as long as we need it for bookings, record keeping, and legal or tax reasons. After that, it will be securely deleted.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and in some cases ask us to delete it. If you would like to ask about any of this, just get in touch.

Website and cookies

If you use our website, Squarespace and Acuity Scheduling may use essential cookies or similar tools to help the site work properly and let you make bookings. We may also use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand general website use and improve the site. Where required, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies, in line with the UK GDPR.
